What skills and experience we're looking for

With effect from September 2024, we are seeking to appoint an innovative and outstanding Teacher of Business to lead a successful and progressive department. The successful candidate will be required to teach GCSE Business at KS4 and A Level Business at KS5 to the highest standard and to make a positive difference to Academy life.

We are looking for a passionate teacher who brings their subject to life to complement the existing Business team. A willingness to support the Academy ethos and support of extra-curricular activities within the Business department is essential. The successful applicant will engage fully with the curriculum design and development process, particularly as the existing specifications are updated by exam boards and look for opportunities to develop the wider Business curriculum.

Interviews are expected to take place during the week commencing Monday 22 April 2024 and shortlisted applicants will be contacted by email with details of the arrangements. The post will be offered subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
