School 21 is a pioneering 4 to 18 school in Stratford, East London that is developing a rich curriculum and a range of exciting pedagogies. This is your chance to lead a committed business team who believe in fostering critical thinking, analytical skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset, hence preparing students to navigate the complexities of the global economic landscape.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Head of Business who is excited to lead a department focused on continual development and striving for the very best outcomes at GCSE and A-Level.
Currently, we teach Business GCSE at Year 10 and Year 11, with a cohort size of 25 and our A-Level Business is very popular with 40+ students in the cohort. Whilst there is a strong commitment to exam skills and success, we believe that developing the whole student with a Head, Heart, Hand curriculum is key.
Across the department we believe in continual development of ourselves and each other. We work on collaborative planning, with plentiful feedback given, to ensure our curriculum supports all students and we work in groups to develop our classroom craft.
