What skills and experience we're looking for

We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and excellent teacher of Business Studies to lead our growing subject. The successful candidate will also play a part in the monitoring and strategic overview of the other vocational subjects in liaison with the Lead Teachers for these subjects.

We currently teach Cambridge National Business Studies; we are seeking somebody who has experience of teaching this or an equivalent qualification for Business Studies in the last three years. The strongest applicants would identify that they have the ability to teach at least one other subject through their application.

More details can be found in the Head of Vocational Subjects job description and person specification (please see enclosed)

The successful candidate will be remunerated by a TLR 2B payment (equivalent to £5,354 per year). Applicants must be able to demonstrate ‘outstanding practice’ in their own teaching.

Please note that we reserve the right to close this advert early should we receive an overwhelming response.

Should you be successful during the shortlisting process interviews will be held face to face at the school.

This post is 100% FTE.
