Southam College is a high performing and oversubscribed 11-18 School set in the heart of Warwickshire close to Coventry, Leamington, Banbury and Leicester. In 2021 we were rated 'Outstanding' for the third time by Ofsted. In 2023, 75% of all grades achieved at GCSE were 4 or above and nearly a quarter of grades achieved at GCSE were grade 7 or above. We are determined to build on this success by continuing to:
• Raising achievement at GCSE and ‘A’ level
• Developing our Learning and Teaching skills
• Enhancing the range of Memorable Experiences available to our students
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher to join our successful team. The successful applicant will be an inspirational forward thinker with a focus on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences and a belief in our ‘can do’ culture where anything is possible. You will be a talented teacher, with excellent subject knowledge and be well informed on current educational developments and initiatives. Southam College is an 11-18 school set in the heart of rural Warwickshire with 1643 students on roll, 298 of who are in the Sixth Form. As a result of our strong reputation, based upon outstanding achievement, wide ranging extracurricular opportunities and an ethos of support and care, the school continues to be oversubscribed.
In 2021 we were rated 'Outstanding' for the third time by Ofsted and in 2021 84% of students achieved Grade 4 and above in English and Maths. We have used this accolade to spur us on to reaching even higher standards in everything that we do. This is inclusive of raising student achievement, providing a wider range of memorable experience and developing the quality of learning and teaching.
