The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is a highly successful Multi Academy Trust (MAT) encompassing 5 secondary schools, 11 primary schools, a Teaching School Hub, and School Centred Initial Teacher Training provider. Our schools are based in North Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield, and North Warwickshire. A further secondary school and 2 primary schools will join ATLP during the next 12 months.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Head of Chemistry to join our forward looking and ambitious Science Department. As a Chemistry leader you will join an innovative and driven faculty, working collaboratively with the other four Science leaders who currently lead the key areas of Physics, Biology, Learning & Teaching, as well as Data, Intervention and Assessment. The successful candidate will complement the current structure, be able to develop and demonstrate impact in leading Chemistry across all key stages, and effectively support the science faculty and its team members in their ongoing development.

The Role:
The successful applicant will:
• be confident with leading and developing colleagues in Chemistry at KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• be a highly effective classroom practitioner
• be aspirational with high expectations of students
• be able to teach across the age and ability range
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement of the role.
