We are delighted to be making an appointment for the position Head of Computing and ICT Studies with a specialism of Computer Science, for our 11-18 academy in North Yorkshire – Outwood Academy Easingwold.

Our academies offer a high quality of education for our students and excellent career progression and training for staff. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner with strong leadership potential to join our Family of Schools and work with us as part of the team who rapidly transforms the school to one that offers outstanding provision and is the school of choice in its community.

The Computer Science Department encompasses a range of Computer Science skills at Key Stage 3, with Computer Science at Key Stage 4 and Computer Science & ICT at Key Stage 5. You will be supported by the Director of Computer Science allowing you to lead strategically, whilst having the support from the Director. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to lead a progressive department and be pivotal in shaping the future.

You should possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference and have a firm love of your subject and a desire to support our young people to reach their full potential. You will contribute to an atmosphere of respect, recognition, optimism, celebration and mutual support in the school which promotes equality within, and values the diversity of the school community.
