What skills and experience we're looking for

About the Role:

As Head of Computer Science, you will:

  • Lead and manage a dedicated team of teachers, fostering a collaborative and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement a challenging and engaging curriculum across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level Computer Science.
  • Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of computational thinking, programming, and digital technologies, preparing them for future success in a rapidly evolving digital world.
  • Oversee assessment, tracking, and intervention strategies to ensure all students make excellent progress.
  • Contribute to the wider school improvement agenda.
