Do you want to work in an Outstanding School and Computer Science department?

You will be joining a highly successful Computer Science department, where students work in a purposeful atmosphere. We are seeking a highly motivated and outstanding teacher to develop the Computer Science department and join our strong team of middle leaders. You will demonstrate a passion for the subject and have a clear vision for outstanding provision in Computer Science. This position represents an exciting opportunity to work in one of the most outstanding schools in London.

Outcomes for KS4 in 2024 placed the Computer Science department in the top 5% in the country for Progress and top 12% for attainment. The average grade at A Level was a B grade, with over a quarter of the cohort achieving A*/A. Overall progress for all subjects, places The Compton School in the top 8% of all schools in the country.

The department currently teaches GCSE and A Level Computer Science, and the successful candidate will look to build on current success as well as take responsibility for developing provision at KS3 and exploring new courses to add to our existing KS5 provision.
