We require a well-qualified and dynamic Head of Computing and E-Learning as we look to expand our current department. This is a rare opportunity for someone to develop whole school leadership skills and join our passionate team supporting young people into STEM opportunities. You will contribute to our whole school e-safety and e-learning development. You will work directly with all staff to embed good practice. The successful candidate must be able to teach across all Key Stages (3 to 5) and be keen to support the development of a newly forged partnership with the National Centre for Computing Education.
QEGS is a high achieving, oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive converter academy. There are excellent public transport links (the school is located directly opposite High Barnet underground station) and free onsite parking. Wellbeing is very important to us and all staff have access to our 29 acres of beautiful grounds, use of our Tennis courts, fitness suite and indoor swimming pool. We invest in an employee assistance programme offered by the Education Support Partnership and all staff receive a laptop to support their preparation.
