What skills and experience we're looking for
Heartlands High School has the opportunity to invite a colleague interested in joining our successful and dynamicFaculty as Head of Subject for Computing. We teach Computing in Key Stage 3 to all students, and it is a popular subject at Key Stage 4 where we regularly fill two full classes. This is an exciting time to be joining the school, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead on a redesign of our Year 9 curriculum. We are looking for a leader who can inspire and enthuse the next generation of computer scientists, ensuring they are fully equipped to study computing at Key Stage 5 or start an apprenticeship, or simply navigate an ever increasing technological world.
