HEAD OF DANCE – Maternity Cover
Required for January 2022 – 1 year fixed term contract

We wish to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Head of Dance to cover maternity leave who is committed to raising the expectations and achievements of our students.

This post would suit an ambitious, experienced teacher who would enjoy working in a supportive and successful school. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, will have strong subject knowledge, a passion for the subject and will enjoy teaching their subject to a high level, including GCSE and A level. A TLR is available for this role.

Highworth Grammar School is an over-subscribed 11 – 18, selective Girls’ school of 1534 students with 459 students in the sixth form (71 boys). We are situated in the South East of England, with excellent transport links to both the rest of Kent and London.

The school was judged to be Outstanding in all areas in June 2013. In 2019 our A Level results placed us in top 25% of schools nationally.
