We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Head of Department and Teacher of Girls' PE to lead this established, progressive and well-resourced PE department. The PE Department have state of the art facilities comprising a four-badminton courts sports hall, fitness suite and dance studio, in addition to a multi-use games area and multiple netball/tennis hard court areas. A commitment to the development of creative and engaging teaching across KS3, GCSE and BTEC L3 is essential.
You will:
have energy, enthusiasm, creativity and flair
show an excellent commitment to raising attainment through extra-curricular activities
have in-depth subject knowledge across a wide range of activities
be an experienced teacher of PE, able to direct on teaching GCSE and BTEC classes
be able to lead a team to deliver excellent results.
