What skills and experience we're looking for

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future creative learning in our school. You'll be working alongside an experienced and dedicated middle leadership team to create a curriculum which fosters artistic expression, high aspirations and critical thinking. The Art and Textiles role is newly formed from separating Art and Textiles from Food and Product Design, therefore you will have the opportunity to shape the role and make your mark. The department is based in 4 dedicated teaching rooms with a suite of computers in one of the rooms to support.

We are looking for someone who can inspire and influence and;

  • Can evidence designing and teaching effective lessons that are personalised to learner needs.
  • Has experience of contributing to the design, delivery and evaluation of a department's curriculum.
  • Can work well as a team with other staff, communicating to a variety of audiences.
