Central Academy Birmingham are recruiting for an experienced Teacher to be our Head of Department ICT and Computer Science. As one of the family of schools run by CORE Education Trust, we ensure our CORE values are at the heart of everything we do.

Your new role
To lead the development of the curriculum, Teaching & Learning and assessment across ICT and Computer Science, including the development of appropriate syllabi, schemes of work, lesson plans, resources, and assessment materials.

You will need the ability to think strategically, creatively and to prioritise your workload. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with being resilient and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
