Head of Department IT & Computing job summary

The aim of this post is to continually improve the quality of education offered to the students in the College and in particular for the assigned subject for which they are responsible. The Head of Department will manage the work of the department under the line management of the senior member of staff linked to that department. The Head of Department will create the department ethos, work with the Principal, Vice Principals and senior staff to promote educational opportunities, equality of opportunity, and an appropriate working environment for both students and staff, teaching and non-teaching.
