Head of Department - Languages job summary

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding French teacher to the role of Head of Department for Languages. The successful candidate will further strengthen an already successful French department by leading further curriculum and teaching development. Applications are invited from inspirational classroom practitioners and leaders who are dedicated to supporting their team to become the very best French teachers. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of excellent outcomes and will be passionate about delivering exciting, innovative and engaging French lessons that allow all students to achieve their full potential.

French is a well-resourced department and is forward thinking in its curriculum and teaching approaches. The role involves working closely with the Director of Languages to: develop current teaching practice, develop assessment, provide robust coaching and mentoring and to provide intervention
