What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:

  • Lead and inspire excellence in D&T across two schools serving one community
  • Further develop and already exciting, ambitious and challenging D&T curriculum
  • Provide inspirational and dynamic leadership to an exceptional team of professionals
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.

You are likely to be someone who is, or has the potential to:

  • be an inspirational and skilled classroom teacher of D&T
  • have a vision for excellence across the suite of D&T subject areas and qualifications
  • be highly resilient and tenacious with a clear understanding of, and ability to use, a range of approaches including pace-setting and challenge as tools to bring about transformational change
  • be ambitious for whole school leadership and thrives in an aspirational culture
