Pool Hayes Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Head of Design & Creation to supplement and enhance a strong established and supportive Design & Technology department. The department is part of a well led, dynamic team, whose colleagues all enjoy supporting the Academy and its culture of outstanding success amongst our students. The appointed candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and will be supported by our Senior Leadership Team.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional leader and educator with vision, tenacity, optimism, strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to inspire students to achieve their very best in a progressive, dynamic and improving Academy; creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students. As a key leader, you will be responsible for raising the standards of student attainment, achievement, progress and development within all subjects in the faculty area, be accountable for leading, managing and developing all aspects of the curriculum in the faculty area and develop and enhance the teaching practice of others. We are keen to secure a high calibre leader who can make a telling contribution to our forward-looking team.
The Design & Technology faculty is one rooted in working to provide the very best teaching and learning for our all our students, with a strong commitment to removing barriers to learning for all. We celebrate with our students not only the joys and diversity of our subject, but also the academic rigour of it, too.
