Our school is one of three secondary schools which together form Endeavour MAT. Whilst the school first opened in September 2019 with just four forms in Year 7, it has expanded to an eight-form entry school, growing exponentially with each academic year. This growth presents a range of exciting career opportunities to join our existing staff team.
We are seeking an excellent Head of Department for History to join us in our co-educational community school based in North Kent. The ideal candidate will be a creative and innovative leader, with exceptional teaching and pedagogy, and will possess a keen drive to make a real difference to our students.

The deadline for applications is: 26th May 2022 with interviews expected to take place on 27th May 2022. It is our intention for all candidates to be observed teaching a face-to-face lesson as part of the selection process. At Stone Lodge our approach to safeguarding is child-centred and we consider at all times the best interest of the child.
We have a designated safeguarding lead, who provides support to staff members to carry out their safeguarding duties and liaises with other agencies such as children’s social care.
Mr Barnett is also a safeguarding lead and regular meetings are held to discuss any ongoing safeguarding or welfare concerns.
All staff members receive safeguarding and child protection training which is regularly updated.
