Salary: MPR/UPR + TLR 1A - The Trust will negotiate a Recruitment and Retention Allowance for a period of three years to be discussed at interview.
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic teacher for the post of Head of Design Technology. We are looking for someone with a vision for high quality provision of Design and Technology and the passion and determination to implement this vision.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build upon the current success and have the autonomy to implement their vision and move the provision to the next stage of development. This is an exciting time to take on this role and shape the Design and Technology curriculum area through Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

* An outstanding and effective classroom practitioner with a proven track record of raising standards.
* An excellent communicator with interpersonal skills and can think strategically.
* Knowledgeable about the Design and Technology curriculum across key stages 3 – 5
* Experienced in implementing strategies to improve attitudes to learning and outcomes .
* A strategic thinker who will inspire staff and students to reach their full potential.
* A warm person with high levels of emotional intelligence.
