Head of Design Technology job summary

To produce a Departmental SEF (School Evaluation Form) in consultation with departmental members and Curriculum Line Manager which is in line with the Whole School SIP (School Improvement Plan) and SEF.
To identify departmental aims and objectives and to review, evaluate and develop the curriculum to meet these aims.
To ensure that syllabuses and schemes of work are produced and reviewed which meet national and local requirements.
To develop departmental assessment procedures which are compatible with the school policy, including formative and summative processes.
