Head of Drama job summary

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher and Leader of Drama to our highly successful Department. We are looking for a first rate teacher who shares our vision of outstanding education within a comprehensive setting. This is an exciting time for our historic and increasingly popular school as we complete the transition from single sex to coeducation.

The position would ideally suit someone with the following qualities:
• A passion for teaching Drama and an understanding on how the subject can impact on the personal development of young people.
• Inspirational practitioner with the ability to enthuse students to learn.
• Understanding of how to facilitate good levels of student progress.
• Resilient character and strong personal drive to.
