Head of Drama job summary

We are seeking an outstanding leader and classroom practitioner for the role of Head of Drama at Longsands Academy. Candidates will have the ability to continue the existing high standards of learning and teaching of Drama at Longsands Academy during a period of maternity absence.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and appropriately qualified Drama specialist able to teach Years 7 to 11, with the ability to contribute to the continued growth of the Department and develop the extra-curricular provision. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious teacher to make a real difference, whilst gaining middle leadership experience. The post would suit someone with an outstanding record of working successfully with students and staff.
