Do you want to join a school that passionately believes in the Performing Arts and sees it as the beating heart of the school? We have the opportunity for a Head of Drama to join our team and work with our incredible students. The school has just opened a £3million theatre and we want somebody to join us who will expand the courses and provision we offer. This is an opportunity for you to make your mark with the complete support of the school. The role will suit either an existing Head of Department or somebody wishing to lead the subject for the first time.

Torquay Academy’s results have improved dramatically over the past few years thanks to our brilliant teachers. This has resulted in us being an oversubscribed school. We know that the results can improve further and we are looking for people who are committed, passionate and highly motivated to join our team.

We believe in strong discipline and support teachers with a strong pastoral team and centralised behaviour systems. We work hard to reduce unnecessary workload so that our teachers can focus on teaching great lessons.
