Isaac Newton Academy is a non-denominational, non-selective school, welcoming students of all backgrounds from the local community. We opened in 2012 with our inaugural cohort of 180 year 7 students. The opportunity  

 

We are now seeking a skilled and committed leader to join the team as Head of Economics. This is a key position, and the successful candidate will play a key role in the Extended Leadership Team at INA, as well as having many opportunities to collaborate with other Ark HoDs. We are seeking a dynamic leader with experience of both Economics and Business studies across KS4 and KS5 (essential). One of our goals is to launch GCSE Business or Economics for the first time at INA as well as reviewing our sixth form provision. This will be a huge opportunity for an existing or aspiring middle leader to develop their experience in curriculum leadership. The existing team comprises experienced teachers who enjoy collaboration and have delivered strong results.

  •  have some experience of leadership within a secondary school
  • have the potential to move into senior leadership in the future
