We have developed a strong culture of collaboration and a vision of excellence, so that our students are able to excel as both writers and linguists.

We would be delighted to take you on a tour of the school and give you the opportunity to meet the department and answer any questions you may have.

As Head of English, you will be welcomed into an experienced team of creative professionals to:

  • Oversee and shape the English curriculum’s delivery
  • Lead and mentor your team, enhancing their teaching practice with innovative methods and ensuring they have a clear vision

  • Be committed to the wider school community and development of students
  • Promote the understanding and belief that every student can be successful

We put the welfare of our staff at the heart of everything we do and can offer you:

  • Generous employer pension contribution at 28.6% basic salary from April 2024
  • Early Friday finish at 1:00pm
  • Career development with a bespoke CPD programme
  • Excellent newly refurbished teaching facilities with free onsite parking and good local public transport links
