What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to recruit a motivational and talented Head of English.
You will have outstanding leadership skills and appropriate experience to lead and deliver to English at KS3, KS4 and KS5 across year groups 7 to 13. If you are an enthusiastic, dedicated and creative leader we would love to hear from you to discuss the post of Head of English.
The role will include leading the delivery of English. As Head of Department, you will have full autonomy to ensure your department meets targets and exceeds the needs of our learners. You will lead by example, supporting and empowering your department’s teachers, staff and pupils to achieve to the best of their ability. The Head of Department will also line manage the English department, supporting the SLT link and Headteacher to ensure the department achieves to its maximum potential.
