The Discovery Academy is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Head of English to lead a strong team of highly motivated professionals who work collaboratively to raise standards and expectations at all levels throughout the Academy. With your knowledge and passion for the subject, you will develop a great curriculum experience in line with the whole Academy ethos, enabling all students to make exceptional progress. You will be passionate about academic excellence, collaboration and delivering high quality teaching for every student. You will be able to identify and implement strategies to improve the quality of education and will be committed to the highest standards of achievement. You will be an outstanding practitioner, with a clear vision and a good track record in raising standards.
