What skills and experience we're looking for

Ipswich Academy, part of Paradigm Trust, is seeking to appoint an inspirational, well qualified and motivated Head of English with a track record of achieving outstanding outcomes. The position would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teacher of English to take on a new challenge of leading this subject, or for an individual who is relatively new to the profession with the potential to move to senior leadership.

As Head of English at Ipswich Academy, you will support, develop and lead a team of teachers within your department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. The successful candidate will have the drive ability to provide effective curriculum planning and implementation of English across all key stages. You will be responsible for managing the work of all staff in your department, ensuring through consistent implementation, that the academy meets all of its obligations to staff and pupils.
