We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and highly effective Head of English for a maternity cover (September 2022 until the return of the postholder) to lead a thriving Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and inspiring subject specialist with exceptional communication and management skills to lead our dedicated and well-qualified team. An excellent knowledge and understanding of the subject is essential and Post-16 experience would be desirable. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘students first’.
This post is a key appointment in terms of enhancing and ensuring positive life chances for our students through success and achievement in this key area.
The person we are seeking to appoint will be dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated in making use of the state-of-the-art facilities our brand new Academy buildings can offer, in order to develop the life chances of our young people through inspirational and successful English teaching.
