Head of English job summary

We are seeking a Head of English to develop this subject throughout the School, ensuring that each student and colleague is encouraged to develop their potential in English to the full. The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for English. They will have previous experience of managing a team, and will be highly motivated with excellent communication skills. This is a leadership role teaching and overseeing English Literature and English Language GCSE qualifications and A Level English Literature, with experience of teaching these qualifications essential.
