Head of English job summary

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an inspirational, ambitious and dynamic Head of English to lead a forward thinking, committed and highly skilled English department. The successful candidate will be a subject expert across all three key stages, passionate about the development of literacy and oracy for all students, and relentless in the pursuit of excellent outcomes in English for all. We are seeking a candidate with excellent knowledge of curriculum, assessment and effective pedagogy within English and a very effective communicator who is able to enthuse a high performing team of committed professionals to even greater success.
