Head of English job summary
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge, who has a proven track record of leadership or effecting change, to lead our highly successful English Faculty (90% GCSE grades 4-9 in 2018 and 2019).
The successful candidate will be expected to teach, and have strategic oversight of curriculum planning and delivery, for English Language and Literature throughout the school and across the age and ability range. We expect the Head of Faculty to teach A Level. As a Teaching School we can offer the successful candidate excellent support and professional development.
