Head of English job summary
We seek to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated and ambitious colleague to lead our English department. We welcome applications from experienced teachers who have a passion for English and who will employ strategies to move the department to outstanding.
The English department are an established, efficient, hardworking and successful team. English results have been consistently good. The successful candidate will have the vision, creativity and experience to drive the continued development of the English department. They will join an energetic school which strives to ensure that all students enjoy learning and surpass expectations of achievement. They will be expected to lead the department as a whole and line manage key post holders within the department.
