TMS/UPS plus TLR 3c (£3,169) – 1 FTE Permanent Start date: September 2024
We are seeking an inspiring classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and leadership to lead KS5 Environmental Science. We wish to appoint a teacher of Science and Environmental Science who is or has the potential, not only to be an outstanding practitioner and foster a love of learning and of the natural world, but also to support and instil this passion in the team. You should be a role model in the Faculty, committed to excellence for staff and students in the team. You will lead KS5 Environmental Science curriculum, students and co-curriculum. Your passion and leadership will promote the course to younger students and ensure that Environmental Scientists make excellent progress and have the opportunity to go on to further study or careers in the discipline. This is an important role leading one of 7 Science courses at KS5 in a thriving and passionate science Faculty.
The Science team at Steyning Grammar School is a close-knit team, dedicated to supporting each other and our students to enable them to thrive, develop and succeed. We have a large and successful Faculty offering combined science, separate science, health and social care at GCSE and Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Environmental Science, Health and Social Care and Forensic Investigation at KS5.
