Head of Faculty for Humanities job summary
The Humanities Faculty is comprised of four disciplines: History, Geography, MFL and Character and Culture with subject leads for each area. The Head of Humanities would ideally need the skills and experience to lead History. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic colleague to join and lead this motivated team. We are looking for a committed, proactive and hardworking Head of Faculty, with an excellent subject knowledge and a sense of passion for History. The successful candidate will be required to teach History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Students enjoy History and achieve excellent outcomes in their GCSE examinations at Acle Academy, many of whom go on to study this subject post 16.
