What skills and experience we're looking for

Millthorpe School is seeking a leader to build on the continued development of our well-established maths department. We are looking for an inspirational and highly motivated leader with a proven record or the promise of outstanding practice, to enable our students to be the best that they can be.

The successful candidate must be a highly effective and reflective teacher, with the ability to teach across the age and ability range, and be committed to ensuring the highest standards for our young people to support their future learning and adult life.

The Mathematics Department currently consists of five full-time members of staff and one part-time. Alongside the Head of Faculty there is also a 2nd in Faculty. The Department has a wealth of experienced teachers and a couple of teachers newer to the profession.
