Are you an inspirational and driven MFL Teacher ready for a new challenge to develop your leadership ability in a happy and supportive school?

A Head of Faculty is required to join an established and increasingly successful MFL team, who have rapidly improving results through the delivery of an innovative and inspiring curriculum. In the 2018 GCSE results the department achieved L4-9 passes at 90% in French, 83% in Spanish and 64% in German. The department is hugely supportive with increasing uptake of MFL at GSCE, and a Spanish A Level group. It is becoming a very popular choice with students across the academy. An ability to teach Spanish would be an advantage.
We are looking for someone who flourishes in the classroom and has the passion and drive to make a real difference to children’s life chances. You will join a committed team of teachers who work in a caring and supportive environment and who are focused on enabling each student to develop and excel in MFL. We are looking for someone who is ready to challenge themselves and develop their career through a leadership role. The responsibilities of this strategic post are to lead MFL. The successful applicant will need to be an inspiring teacher who understands what good and outstanding learning looks like in the classroom, and how to support staff in raising students’ achievement. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of MFL at The Manor Academy.
