Head of Faculty - Science (Biology or Physics) 1.0 FTE
MPR/ UPR dependent upon experience, plus TLR1b
The Academy is looking to appoint an energetic and well-qualified graduate of Biology or Physics to lead a strong Science Faculty, in a highly academic school. The ideal candidate would be able to teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and be an experienced and successful team leader with a drive for excellence and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will also be part of the Extended Leadership Group.
The Science Faculty is made up of three individual departments of Biology, Chemistry and Physics and has an excellent uptake at GCSE Separate Sciences and an extensive uptake of A Level Sciences.
The candidate must be:
An inspirational teacher.

Highly organised and meticulous.
Creative and imaginative.
