Head of Finance job summary
Robin Hood MAT is a growing and values-driven primary Trust of nine schools across Birmingham and Solihull. At the heart of our organisation lies a flat structure, a culture of psychological safety, and an unwavering belief in the power of leadership at all levels.
We’re now recruiting a skilled and motivated Head of Finance to join our central team. This role is pivotal to the financial strength of the Trust and plays a strategic part in enabling our schools to thrive. If you are a part- or fully qualified accountant who thrives on challenge, is values-driven, and sees financial transparency as a tool for empowerment, this is your opportunity to make a difference.
You’ll support and guide our school business managers, contribute to financial strategy and forecasting, and help drive innovation in financial systems and reporting. In return, we offer a highly collaborative environment, scope to shape the role, and the chance to be part of a Trust that values Trust.
The Head of Finance will be responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of the Trust's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Working closely with the Finance Director, the post-holder will be instrumental in maintaining robust financial controls, producing timely and accurate financial reports, and supporting the strategic financial planning of the Trust.
