We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Head of Food Technology. The successful candidate will lead the Food Technology department, ensuring that all students make excellent progress and achieve well across all Key stages.
Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership for the Food Technology department, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
* Develop and implement rigorous and engaging schemes of work that promote high standards of teaching and learning.
* Collaborate closely with departmental colleagues to share best practices and resources, fostering a supportive and cohesive team environment.
* Utilise our modern, purpose-built facilities and equipment to enhance the teaching and learning experience for students.
* Monitor student progress closely and implement targeted intervention strategies where necessary to support student achievement.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school by participating in extracurricular activities and events.
