Head of Foreign Languages - September 2022 – TLR 2c job summary
We are seeking an innovative, highly effective and inspirational full time Head of Foreign Languages from September 2022. This post attracts a TLR 2c allowance and a recruitment allowance will be considered for an appropriately experienced teacher who has the right skills and attributes.
Brighton Hill Community School has been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is a rapidly growing coeducational 11-16 Community School with 1100 students expected to grow to over 1200 in September 2021.
The successful applicant will:
o Consistently deliver high quality lessons in which students make excellent progress
o Be able to articulate a clear vision of what constitutes outstanding learning in a whole school context and in relation specifically to Modern Foreign Languages
o Be exemplary in their approach to leadership and interpersonal relationships
o Demonstrate resilience and commitment to continually raising standards
o Lead on the development and design of an innovative and well sequenced languages curriculum which enriches students’ experience of language learning and plans for optimum progress
