What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an outstanding and passionate Head of Geography to lead our dynamic department. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and innovative educator to inspire students and staff alike while driving the continued success of our geography curriculum. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop the Geography Department to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Deliver engaging and challenging geography lessons across all key stages.
  • Develop and implement an inspiring curriculum that fosters curiosity and geographical awareness.
  • Support and mentor staff within the department to encourage professional growth and best practices.
  • Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment and achievement.
  • Promote extracurricular activities, including field trips, to enhance learning beyond the classroom.
  • Contribute to the wider school leadership and uphold the school's values and ethos.
