What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational subject leader to join our Humanities Directorate.
The successful candidate will need to be a passionate enthusiast for their subject and be determined to continue to raise standards of teaching, learning and examination performance in Geography. You will be responsible for assessment and attainment across all key stages up to and including Key Stage 5 (if relevant). You will be responsible for managing performance appraisal in the department.

Geography within the Humanities Department
You will be joining a supportive and dedicated Humanities department who passionately believe that every child should “enjoy and achieve” in school. The department currently consists of Citizenship, Geography, History and RE at key stages 3 and 4, and Criminology, Law, Psychology, Sociology and RE in the sixth form. As well as striving for academic excellence in school, the department runs a wide range of co-curricular trips to enhance understanding of individual subjects, as well as to improve pupils’ life experiences.
