Head of Geography job summary
This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding teacher/leader to make a real impact in a department within a highly successful school.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:
- An excellent leader, passionate about learning and has strong subject knowledge within the Geography curriculum area.
- A strong record of teaching and raising student achievement- particularly for disadvantaged students.
- Able to motivate and inspire students and staff to achieve their full potential
- Understanding of how to facilitate excellent levels of student progress across an important department.
- Resilient character and a strong personal drive.
- Commitment to the ethos of the school in promoting the development of the whole child.
