Head of Geography job summary
Cromwell Community College is a good school which aspires to be an outstanding school. We look to our successful Humanities Faculty to be a driving force towards this aspiration and we wish to appoint an inspirational teacher to join it as leader of the Geography Department.
We are a popular, growing and successful school. The large Humanities Faculty at Cromwell, which delivers Philosophy and Ethics, History and Geography, is extremely popular with pupils at both GCSE and A-Level, and is striving to become outstanding. This is an excellent opportunity for an already successful Geography teacher to take on a leadership and management responsibility to support the College’s drive to become outstanding. The successful candidate will join a supportive Humanities leadership team under a Head of Faculty.

We are a popular, oversubscribed and successful school that is currently undergoing a large expansion of the secondary phase by 1FE, but we are also the first all-through (4-18) school in Cambridgeshire.
