Head of History and Politics job summary
We are delighted to offer the opportunity for a talented and inspirational teacher of History/Politics to join our outstanding team from September 2021. Beauchamp College is an outstanding secondary school based in south Leicestershire delivering KS3, 4 and 5.
We are looking to appoint someone who can lead by example, is an excellent and enthusiastic teacher and is confident they are able to deliver high quality lessons. The desire to share good practice with the team and a can-do attitude is essential. The successful applicant will have strong subject knowledge and a passion for History and Politics and will be committed to improving achievement.
History is a very popular choice for students at Beauchamp and the popularity for the courses offered is growing. We are proud of our track record and our students regularly achieve outstanding results at both GCSE and A Level. The department also offers A Level Politics and this is a popular course with our sixth form students and also achieves outstanding results. This is all accomplished through a collegiate approach, a desire for self-improvement, a good sense of humour and an attitude that is unafraid of change.

Beauchamp College is the lead school within the Lionheart Academies Trust, based in Oadby, Leicester.
