Goodwin Academy has an exciting opportunity for an inspiring Head of History & RE to lead a successful and popular department, as it continues to develop both its innovative curriculum and extra curricular offer. You will join a committed team of teachers and will be instrumental in providing an outstanding education at the Academy. The successful candidate will be a creative and dynamic practitioner with a proven track record of leadership and innovation to lead the History department. You will implement an engaging and effective curriculum that enthuses and engages students of all abilities and ages, while maintaining high expectations to ensure that every student reaches their full potential.

As an inspiring leader, you will lead by example, develop and motivate your team and remain committed to achieving high standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding teacher who is looking for promotion to Head of Department in a supportive and ambitious Academy, or for an established Head of History looking to continue the improvement journey that this department has already successfully started.
