What skills and experience we're looking for

GCMS are looking to recruit an inspiring and driven Head of History and RE to start in January 2024 (or on the successful candidate’s earliest available date).

The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to inspire and provide strategic direction for our History and RE departments. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills and have a clear vision for the department within a middle school setting. We welcome applications from candidates who will help shape an exciting and enriching curriculum and who has creative ideas to further progress our History and RE departments. Ideally, candidates would have a specialism in History. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone to join our family of forward-thinking staff and motivated students.
