What skills and experience we're looking for

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be Subject Leader of History at The Westwood Academy with a particular focus on delivering History education.

The role will have a particular focus on collaboration to develop and implement effective strategies for enhancing History education across all levels.

Requirements:

  • A degree in History or a minimum of two years of teaching experience in the subject.

  • Passion for History education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in teaching KS3, KS4 and ideally KS5.
